Difference from classic Fairtex shorts
The FXB Fade range is part of the new generation of Fairtex shorts and differs from classic models. The main difference lies in the smaller waistband and six elastic strips inside, compared to four strips on traditional Fairtex shorts. The high side slit is similar, but the microfibre satin feels smoother than the satin of older models. This collaboration with Booster Fightgear has resulted in a more modern design with a fade colour gradient, whereas classic Fairtex shorts often feature solid colours or traditional Thai patterns. The design keeps the shorts in place during kicks, knees and clinches, without extra bulk.
Sizing advice
Fairtex uses Asian sizes that differ from European clothing sizes. Measure your hip circumference (the widest point) and waist, and compare these with the size guide. Note: the sizes in the guide are product measurements, not body measurements. The elastic waistband and adjustable drawstring offer some flexibility, but if you're unsure between two sizes, choose the larger size for more comfort and freedom of movement. The return data shows different experiences, so always use the size guide as your reference.

What's the difference between these FXB Fade shorts and standard Fairtex shorts?
The FXB Fade has six elastic strips instead of four, a smaller waistband and a modern fade design from the collaboration with Booster Fightgear. The microfibre satin from Thailand is smoother than in classic models and dries faster.
Are these Muay Thai shorts suitable for women?
Yes, these shorts have a unisex fit and can be worn by both men and women. The adjustable drawstring and elastic strips ensure a good fit. Do check the size guide, as the fit is roomier.
Can I use these shorts for kickboxing and MMA too?
These shorts are excellent for kickboxing, Muay Thai and K-1. For MMA they're less ideal because the loose fit and satin are less practical during ground work; MMA shorts are tighter and shorter.

Ordering outside the EU

As soon as your order is dispatched, you'll receive an email with a track & trace link. Use it to follow your shipment and see the expected delivery day. Nothing received? Check your spam folder too. If there's still nothing in your inbox after the dispatch confirmation, email us with your order number.
Partial deliveries
If your order consists of products with different delivery times, we may ship in parts. You'll then receive separate track & trace for each shipment. You only pay shipping costs once.

When is shipping free?
In the Netherlands and Belgium from an order value of €100. In Germany, other EU countries, the United Kingdom and Norway from €150. Collection in Groningen is always free. To Switzerland and countries outside Europe, shipping is never free, but the rate decreases with a higher order value. Punching bags and puzzle mats are excluded from free shipping.
Can I choose the carrier myself?
In the Netherlands and Belgium you choose between PostNL and GLS at checkout. In Belgium you can also have your order delivered to a PostNL collection point. In other countries we select the carrier that delivers fastest and most reliably for each shipment (PostNL, DHL or GLS).
What is premium home delivery with insurance?

What if my parcel is delayed?
First check the track & trace; sometimes a shipment is delivered later in the day or the next working day. If the status remains stuck, email us with your order number. We'll contact the carrier immediately.
I've entered the wrong address, what now?
Email us as soon as possible with your order number and the correct address. As long as the order hasn't been dispatched yet, we'll change it. If the shipment is already on its way, we'll try to have it changed via the carrier.

Tip: Traditional Muay Thai shorts are shorter and narrower than standard kickboxing shorts. If you are between two sizes or have muscular thighs or hips, choose the larger size.
How to measure your hip circumference?
- Use a flexible measuring tape around the widest part of your hips and buttocks.
- Measure over thin clothing or directly on the skin for the most accurate result.
- Keep the measuring tape horizontal and snug, but not constricting.
- Thai shorts should be looser around the thighs for maximum freedom of movement during kicks and knees.
